Our services Info, advice and support Info, advice and support If you're not sure which of our services might help, our free information, advice and support is a great place to start. Our dedicated caseworker can assess your circumstances and support with a range of issues. Our caseworker can perform means tests and apply for the Disabled Facilities Grant (to fund a home adaptation); for benefits (eg: Attendance Allowance, Pension Credit and Personal Independence Payments); and for charitable funding (eg: to fund essentials like heating, hot water, gas and electrical safety). Where appropriate, customers are visited at home to assess their living environment, where we can advise on handyperson services (minor home adaptations, improvements and repairs) to make your home accessible, warm, safe and secure. At the same time, we can recommend any other services to enhance your safety and security, such as a home check by the Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue Service. Each year, we deliver schemes on behalf other organisations to help older and disabled people access funding and support to stay warm, safe and secure at home. These currently include: Gas Safe Charity Hardship Fund - funding to cover the repair, servicing, testing and replacement of gas appliances. npower Health Through Warmth Crisis Fund - funding for heating and energy efficiency measures. Electrical Safety First Home Improvement Grants Scheme - funding for essential electrical safety work.
